About me

I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Mich.  When I was 14 years old, I moved with my family to Ledyard, Conn.  I am a fan of all sports, but baseball has always been my favorite.  I became a fan of minor league baseball living in Connecticut and I have attended many Connecticut Defenders games at Dodd Stadium the past several years.  I am currently a student at the University of Connecticut double-majoring in journalism and political science.  In addition to writing this blog, I have contributed UConn baseball coverage to UCHuskies.com and I’ve had work published in SportsPageMagazine.com and The Reminder News.

Stephen, great summary articles on some of the players. I didn’t know that Zumaya had a brother in the minors. It’d be cool if he played with his brother in the majors some day. Anyway, greatly appreciate the information on the up and coming Tigers.

Stephen, this is excellent work. I greatly appreciate your dedicated research and in-depth analysis. You obviously know what you’re talking about!
